Sisterhood

Phi Mu is more than just a sorority. Joining Phi Mu meant finding friends for life, who we will be forever connected to through our bonds of sisterhood. Being a member of Phi Mu means never being alone on or off campus, and always having someone to turn to when you need it most. It means always having a friend to get dinner with, always having a classmate to study with, and always having a sister to watch Netflix with on a Saturday night.

These lifelong friendships we've made through Phi Mu will continue to impact us long after college. We will forever support our sisters, and push one another to be the best that we can be. No matter where life takes us, we can find comfort knowing that we will always have our sisters to turn to. Our sisterhood is more than the 100 girls in our chapter - it is made up of every Phi Mu, nationwide. Wherever we go in life, there will always be a sister close by.

Sisterhood Events

Throughout the year, our Sisterhood Development chair plans fun events and activities, in order to strengthen our sisterhood and give us an opportunity to form new relationships. Past sisterhood events include roller skating, hot yoga, bowling, spa nights, movie nights, craft nights, Galentine's Day parties, Thanksgiving potlucks, trips to Jacob's Family Orchard, and so many more!

Sisterhood Retreats

Once a semester, our Sisterhood Development chair plans a full day of activities and bonding for the entire chapter. The sisterhood retreat is a day that our sisters look forward to all semester! In the past, we have had overnight retreats at Lake Placid, where we had a day full of bonding activities, and a night of dodgeball, karaoke, crafting, and movies. We have spent a day at the Indianapolis Zoo, where we looked at animals, had a big group lunch, and watched a dolphin show. Other retreats have included a day of competitive games at a local park, camping themed retreats in the student center, and a day of team building activities.
